Games!

So, what do I enjoy playing? Well, this is likely to be boring for game fanatics! Many top PC games escape me as I simply can't remember all the keys that need to be used. Nevertheless, I doenjoy somegames. My "favourites" list comprises of:

  • Civilization II (an enduring classic!)

  • C-Evo (a Civilization II clone of considerable worth but actually FREE!)

  • Settlers 3 Gold (I've tried Settlers IV but, though the graphics are much prettier, the gameplay is absolutely awful compared to S3 - in my opinion)

  • AS-Solitaire(another Freeware game, this time solitaire [duh!] card games. Includes a program to create new card sets using your own pictures! Important Note:some downloadable card sets are not suitable for children!)

  • Warrior Dragon(more Freeware. A rather cute RPG where you play the part of an heroic little dragon whose mission is to elinibate the evil knight! Charming!!)

  • Well Of Souls(yes, more Freeware - this time an RPG that can be played by multiple players, though the system to do so is slightly antiquated. A good primer for the novice though!)

  • Pop 'Em(a very addictive puzzle game that is, of course, Freeware. My wife loves it! Just be careful you don't lose all track of time...)

  • MahJongg Game Of Four Winds( genuineMah Jongg and not the extremely popular solitaire version!)

  • MahJongg Master (okay, so this isthe solitaire version!)

  • Ultra Flexball 2000(a superior Arkanoid clone - even if it is Freeware, and you can create your own screens!)

  • Tux Racer(great fun, and kids will love it! Race the penguin - Tux - down a sort of bob-sleigh run, it's harder than you'd think! More Freeware, too.)

  • Laxius Power(anime-styled adventure games with great popularity and wide support on the Internet! Better still, it's Freeware.)
